I have a Pinterest board full of AIP recipes. I am hoping to create a recipe binder soon and get them all organized! I wanted to share with you these tried-and-true recipes that I have made over an over. I love it when I find successful recipes my family loves, don’t you?
This is the first {and only} “No-Mato” Sauce I have made and I love it. I think the food I miss the most is tomatoes. Sadly, with my Psoriasis condition, I will never be able to reintroduce nightshades because they are a trigger for skin conditions such as mine. This sauce surprisingly is reminiscent of a tomato sauce. My non-AIP, junk-food eating husband was even surprised and liked it.
2. Zucchini Fettuccine With Rosemary Butternut Creme Sauce – I binge ate this for several days the first time I made it. I had leftover sauce I dipped a beef patty into as well. It was SOOO good. My “zoodles” were not fettuccine though – I just used my regular spiralizer.
3. Spaghetti Squash Chow Mein – My husband is Filipino and my mother-in-law makes amazing Pancit. I found this recipe and it inspired me to make AIP-Pancit. I add ground beef and boc choy to it too. for strict AIP, omit the pepper. I eat the leftovers for breakfast. 🙂
4. AIP Banana Bread – Oh my gosh…this is AMAZING. I love this recipe. They are more like bars and so awesome tasting.
5. A new-to-me food that I have learned to LOVE is plantains. Before AIP I had never really had them. Plantains are a a great food for you. Click here to check out the health benefits of eating plantains. These AIP Plantain Tortillas are easy to make, inexpensive (plantains are cheap!) and are good in many applications: wraps, tacos, burgers, etc.
6. Sweet and Sour Glazed Meatballs – I am not a huge fan of lamb; I like it in this meatball recipe though. These meatballs are so good that I have to stop myself from eating the whole pound in one sitting! I do not tolerate pomegranate juice that well, so I substituted tart black cherry and it is yum!
7. This is my go-to pork sausage recipe. It is simple to make and I always have these ingredients on hand. If I do not plan to have any other “sugar” (honey, maple syrup) that day, I will dip it into pure maple syrup.
8. 3 Ingredient AmazeBalls – I have made these over and over. My little one is gluten free and refined sugar free, and she LOVES them. Mine have NEVER looked like this picture though, they are always much darker (like chocolate.) I haven’t been successful getting them into balls either. I drop them by tablespoons onto a cookie sheet and freeze them.
9. Allergy Friendly Waffles (AIP, Coconut-Free, Paleo, Vegan) – these are hands-down my favorite AIP waffle. Whatever you do, do NOT use a ripe plantain though. It will not work!!
10. AIP Chicken & Zucchini Poppers – I loved these so much I wrote a review on them!
11. Banana Blueberry Muffins – Do you miss muffins? The warm, crumbly yet moist muffins from days of old? Look no further!
12. Glazed Pork Tenderloin From Against All Grain – My family loved this and gobbled it up. I enjoyed it too and had no qualms about eating the leftovers the next day!
13. Creamy Turmeric Sauce – Do you miss sauce? This sauce is anti-inflammatory with the healing properties of Turmeric. I eat it on everything – over veggies, zoodles, with hamburgers. My friend Melissa makes it into a “broccoli “cheese” soup!” I have successfully re-introduced cashew milk into my diet and have substituted that for the coconut milk before too.
14. Carolina Style BBQ Pork (AIP, Paleo, Gaps, SCD) – I love this recipe! I use the one made exclusively for the Instant Pot, found in The Paleo AIP Instant Pot Cookbook, but if you want to check it out, you can use this recipe that uses the oven.
