Still. Plodding. Through…
Today, I actually got a few hankerin’s. I started missing things like cheese, meat sauce, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, tomatoes, Pecorino Romano….but I’m NOT GOING TO THINK ABOUT IT!
Moving on…here’s my absolutely fabulous, tantalizing, invigorating, exciting meal plan for the day. Did I convince you? Sigh… Me neither.
If you find yourself plodding through the AIP – or something in life that’s just hard to do, I’ve found some sound words of wisdom from a fish (I’m detoxing, please be patient) that might help you through. In case it’s not overwhelmingly obvious…I’m identifying with the clown fish on this one a/k/a Mr. Grumpy Gills…

Supa-Doc recommended protein shake with Natural Value coconut milk (no BPA in can and no gums or thickeners)
Culmination of leftovers thrown together into a stir-fry-ish sorta thing: chuck roast, baby kale, and spaghetti squash with pesto (it was actually tasty – hubby liked it too)
same protein shake as breakfast
Smoked turkey leg (mine made without BBQ sauce – next time, I will brush with olive oil and use AIP poultry rub to jazz it up); butternut squash roasted in coconut oil and seasoned with cinnamon; baby broccoli and green beans steamed, then shocked in ice water. Drained well, then served cold dressed with e.v.o.o, fresh lemon juice, salt and pressed fresh garlic…(YUMMY YUMMY)
