Heat a cast iron skillet (if you have one) to medium. Meanwhile, pat the cubed steaks dry with paper towels. Salt both sides.
Add coconut oil to pan. Quickly pan fry steaks on both sides. I like mine medium rare, so I sear, then turn, then cook another minute or less. Cook to your liking.
Remove steaks to serving dish. In same pan, add sliced onion. Turn heat down to low and continue stirring until onions are nicely browned. Add coconut aminos. Serve onions atop steaks.
